This page says what InstaBOQ keeps about you, why we keep it, who else sees it, and how to delete it.

What we keep

  • From Google, when you sign in: your name, your email address and your Google account ID. We never see your Google password.
  • About you: where you work, what you do and your team size, which you choose once after signing in.
  • Your work: the BOQs, drawing sets (with the PDF drawings you upload), bar bending schedules, bills and wage sheets you save. This includes anything you type in them, such as names of workers, clients and sites.
  • Downloads: which templates you download while signed in, with your name and email.

Making a BOQ, a bill or a schedule without signing in keeps it only in your browser, not with us.

Why we keep it

  • To keep your work and show it to you on any phone or computer you sign in on.
  • To understand who uses InstaBOQ, so we build what you need.

We do not sell your information. We do not call you, and we do not send you marketing emails.

Who else sees it

  • Reading drawings with AI: the drawings you upload are sent to Anthropic, the company that makes the Claude AI model, to be read.
  • Page use: we use Microsoft Clarity to see how pages are used, such as clicks and scrolling.
  • Hosting: the companies that run our servers and store files keep the data for us.
  • Links you share: anyone with a read-only link you create can open that BOQ or schedule until you turn the link off.

Cookies and this browser

Cookies keep you signed in and protect our forms. Two more remember your country and the city of your last BOQ. When you sign out, InstaBOQ clears what it kept in this browser, so the next person on a shared computer does not see your work.

Deleting your account

Go to My work, open About you, and choose Delete my account at the bottom. This deletes your account, your BOQs, drawing sets and the drawings you uploaded, schedules, bills, wage sheets and your answers in About you. It cannot be undone.

We keep only a coded count of the free drawing sheets your sign-in used, so the free set is not given twice. It does not name you.

Something you delete in My work is hidden at once and removed for good when you delete your account.
